We discussed helping the native citizens here previously. I'd like to float the idea of having designated Augmented - those who actually want to help - to be 'assigned', in a sense, to districts in the city to keep an eye on things. Help out the locals, have their faces known, be seen as reliable and trustworthy. It will help us to have a pulse on the populace and start to see if there are signs of concern.
[ Like these suits, potential illness from arcane radiation, loss, and the like. It'll get help to these places quicker. ]
Perhaps it will help us make some inroads with the people, too, before we begin to change further.
Like a representative of each area? I like that idea ♪ If the people remember us and have a positive impression, then it makes them more likely to trust the rest of us too. And it'll help us be more familiar with each area of the city, how it differs from one another, and make sure they're reassured we'll be there for them, no matter their class or wealth.
( because despite her own attitude, she's not blind to the class differences in karteria either. pretty girls have to be smart too, after all! )

That's exactly the idea. We can also keep track if something happens to people. These dealings with the men in suits, the disappearances... If we have eyes on the street and our ear to the ground, it's more likely we'll be aware if it starts happening again or something worse, and we can head it off at the pass.

I wouldn't call them friends, but I've contacted Palamedes and Momo about this, and you as well. Palamedes told me a girl named Maria was looking to help as well. My co-workers at the Steel Wing, Ace and Texas, will likely be interested as we'll already have our faces known in delivering mail and packages.
Momo, Cellinia, and Ace! I know all of them. If they're all willing to help, I'm sure it will go well.

I have a few friends who I'm sure would be happy to help the cause too. The more eyes we have everywhere the better, right? And if there's something else happening in Karteria... Some kind of inner disagreement, it would be good to have a little spy among us too. Someone who is our friend, but to some locals they might act like they disagree with Patho-Gen and the Augmented. That way, we would be able to have ears and eyes within circles who don't like us. Not a bad idea, is it?
I'm glad we all seem to be moving in common circles. It makes introductions so much smoother.

I would be all right with this, so long as it's discreet. If they end up declining, I do not want them to work against us as we provide help to the people of the city. Beyond that, it doesn't trouble me at all.
[ People can have their opinions and they can actively argue against them. But actively sabotaging attempts to actually support people in finding better lives and futures would cross the line for her. ]
I believe we are in a situation that is difficult for everyone. And some people may wish to take advantage of that in one manner or another. There may come a time when people believe they should choose to protect the Augmented over the citizens of this city, or the people of this world.
