Won't you tell me more about your hometown, if you don't particularly mind doing so? Which part of Belle Ville resembles it the most, for example? The northern area or the south?
My my, Phainon~ Are you curious about me? I might just be an open book for you if you ask the right questions~
But my hometown wasn't anything like Belle Ville. It was a small village where we all knew each other, with a beautiful forest surrounding it. Hmmm, maybe it's something more like Kelesis?
( if they just ignore that kelesis completely warded them off, and they don't actually know what kelesis looks like. )
[ he hasn't a clue on how to address his curiosity, much less approach it. their initial conversation, upon that day they've first met, satiated enough for the time being. anything more is simply phainon going with the flow nowadays. ]
Attempting to find a place of residence near Kelesis seems a little foreboding considering the odds and our less than stellar reception that we received as an Augmented collective.
[ someone whose origins also involves a village hometown though? he won't make his intrigue too obvious yet. instead: ]
But I do wonder of the prerequisites. Something like, one ought to be pure of heart to be deemed worthy of passage into the city?
Phainon! You don't think I'm pure of heart? I'm so hurt!
( she's not, but it's the teasing that matters! )
I don't think it's anything to do with us. It could be that they don't have a very good relationship with Karterians, and they associate us with them. But it would be nice to visit it one day, wouldn't it? When they trust us a little more.
Hmm~ But if you're really worried about a living place, how about somewhere closer to the beach? With an accessible roof! It's making for watching the sunrise easier like that, don't you think?
Once their doors are opened to us and we're able to request for an elaborate tour to better understand their home, perhaps Kelesis can be a future candidate.
[ little do they know, kelesis is gonna feel like a fever dream. ]
But somewhere closer towards the shore, then. Between Water's Edge and East Sophia? Would that be your ideal place of residence?
[ he hasn't even dropped the Big Question yet though ]
You're making plans that ahead in the future already? But if that happens, you have to promise me we'll take that tour together. Everything is better when you have a friend with you, after all!
( she's also stealing that chimera sticker. not that it matters but it's too cute!!!
she can also like, totally see through phainon, but it'd be too mean if she didn't play along, wouldn't it? but it doesn't mean she can't tease him. for example: )
Mhm mhm! That wouldn't be bad at all, would it? But have you been to Basileios before, Phainon? ( literally on the other side of karteria, mind, ) Everything is so pretty and bright~ It wouldn't be so bad to get a house there either... Places that shine that beautifully at night are hard to resist, don't you think?
[ elysia, please. phainon can only afford them 3 months worth of rent at a place like basileios!! ]
Basileios... How should I say this? It's something of a culture shock, I think, though I do not disagree. It's a sight to behold for visitors from elsewhere, and I'm partial towards the park that resides within its borders. I may need some time to get used to the general ambiance of it as I'm still quite unfamiliar with it, however.
[ suffice to say: it's a far cry from aedes elysiae, influencing his opinion somewhat. he won't even start with the citizens... being quick to judge isn't really his thing, so he tries his best not to be, still. ]
But, along with my promise to accompany you to see what Kelesis may have to offer, perhaps a stroll around Basileios, with you as my guide, in return may allow me to appreciate the differences it shares with my own hometown.
3.4 can't hurt us from here........ (lies)
