( so much said in such few texts. equals... elysia can't help but think, then, that they must be good friends, that much like the day they met, phainon must enjoy sparring with this friend of his. it's hard, not to let the nostalgia and melancholy wash over her, but she needs not worry. after all, her friends live all inside of her.

You know, Phainon reminds me of a friend... He used to be a lot like him. Timid, and unsure of his future and the duty he had to all of us. But... Fate is something hard to fight against. Duty, even more so. It's not a path easy to take, but he had all of us. No matter how much he tried distancing himself, thinking that he's the only one meant to take on this burden, I would make sure to pout at him, and reassure that we're more than just teammates. We're friends, and even family.
So I think... Phainon might be like that, too. If he gives so much of himself to other people, then he might be trying to find an anchor, so he doesn't lose himself in whatever fate has in store for him. Does that seem like that would be the case?
